What it is
A welded steel box for kindling and fatwood, open-topped so you can grab a handful without looking. 14 inches square and 10 tall — enough for about a week of daily fires.
Welded rather than folded and riveted. Rivets are what start rattling on a box that gets dragged across stone twice a day.
What it is not for
- Not for hot ash or embers. This is a dry-kindling box and it has no lid.
- The base edges will scratch a soft floor if the box is dragged. Lift it.
