What it is
A welded steel rack that holds about a quarter cord of split wood off the floor, 36 inches wide and 30 tall. Welded from 1 inch square tube — not bolted flat-pack, which is what every rack at this size usually is and what makes them rack sideways under load within two winters.
It arrives assembled and it is 31 pounds empty. Indoors it will outlive the room. Outdoors, in weather, the black oxide will give way to rust in two or three seasons — this is an indoor rack.
What it is not for
- Indoor use. Black oxide is not a weatherproof finish and this will rust outdoors within a few seasons.
- Not rated above 250 lb.
- Not a shelf and not something to stand on.
